Beautiful town, gorgeous mountain view. Staff was lovely, always helpful. If you need something, just ask them. Buffet-style breakfast was extraordinary; it was a delicious array of Italian meats and cheeses, eggs. pastries, fruits, tomatoes that will ruin you for any others, and coffies.
Hotel was rustic; be realistic with expectations. It is very, very affordable, charming, family-owned (not another boring corporate chain), full of character. Could use a face lift, but who cares really, this is Tuscany, look at the country view, go outside, enjoy the slower side of life for a while. Lastly, hotel bar is phenomenal!
ETA: I forgot to emphasize: make every effort to visit the hotel bar, if even for a coffee. I swear the genius mixologist, who I affectionately refer to as Hercules, can read your mind and devise the perfect cocktail for you. He put a smile on my face every day of my entire stay!
The facilities are top notch for relaxing and the terme are just a thing for you to recommend always but I have a mixed experience in this hotel.
The male staff are nice the women staff are terrible! The massage staff are just 5 stars (2 women) and incredible in their field of work, one of them is even fluent in english.
The package and rooms are just good for the budget and will recommend it, but booking through the front desk women staff is a horrible experience! This woman is just sitting all day long and is very unwelcoming and rude while the massage staff, the bartenders, the managers and the waiters who are standing and working all day are very kind!
Old hotel in need of renovation. However, it is clean with very good service from the employees. I find it unacceptable at dinner that they don't offer a jug of water and charge €3 for the small plastic package.
Brilliant location . The bed was very comfortable. Very clean. The staff were lovely. I found the breakfast mediocre and it was really busy with huge groups. Infuriating coffee machines. Nice small bar. The pool looked lovely. I did manage to swim once but it was early in the season and not really suitable weather.
Nice location n good service
But the facility is quite old
N the rooms should be renovated
I can’t believe it’s 4-star hotel
Maybe it was rated 30 years ago
breakfast is very poor and content is low, also poor quality. reception staff are a bit rude and do not want to help. There are carpets in the rooms and if you have a very old dust allergy, never go. the air conditioners are definitely not working and the rooms are very hot. You can only charge the phone in the electrical sockets in the rooms, you cannot use the iron. As a result, I would never recommend a very old hotel.
A very 70s hotel experience — overdue for an upgrade but a little charming in its own quirky way. If you take the time to explore around the hotel it’s a very nice and walkable neighborhood.
Rooms clean but a little dated. Staff excellent pool area great .Food all excellent.
